Here we go again!
We returned from our mission to Armenia in December 2011. Because of receiving so many blessings from serving previously, the time just seemed right to go again. But this time it will only be for six months. We received our call in November 2012 to the Mormon Handcart Historic Site in Wyoming, which is part of the South Dakota Rapid City Mission.
We have been asked to prepare physically (walking 3-5 miles a day, riding bikes, etc.) and studying pages and pages of information about the Handcart Pioneers. Oh, how I love the Pioneer Stories!
President Hinckley said, "Whether these Saints are our direct ancestors or not, we all share in the spiritual heritage they have left. Their faith, courage, obedience, sacrifice, charity and determination have inspired millions."
